Hello
I know that especially in the US check in desks are also known as "Ticket Counters"-is this becuase the ticket desks are not usually separate from the check in desks as they are in Europe? Also does the term "concourse" mean something different in the US as it does in Europe, as in the US the term "Concourse" often referes to a gate area, this is not the norm in Europe(and presumably the rest of the world) the rest of the world), where Concourse would usually referer to the check-in/shopping area-is this correct and why?
