chilleruk1,

You've just opened a can of worms......! .

May I suggest you try a search in these forums using the magical words 'Malagus'.

Beware, you may be there some time...!

WWW,

Looking at another thread about a course in Jerez on Oct 7th - it looked as though (s)he was on that one. Interesting can't wait to see the outcome of the entire thing (plus i'm sure it'll free up some server space)

Malgus is a lottery. I wonder how many people pay £147???
As usual the bandits always appear sooner or later!!
Maybe Malgus is a division of the CAA??

I've been thinking about this Malgus thing for a while. The advantage to other sponsorship programs seems to be that there is no age limit.

HOWEVER: I sent them emails over and over again asking details about the program, and I haven't had a single reply yet.

As to the funding, I think the trick is the the course is in Spain. You have to pay half of the BRITISH costs back, not what they actually spend on you!

Also note that this course doesn't give you multicrew and jet training at all, as I understand it, not sure how the airlines respond to a Malgus graduate's application.
