Just wanted to know if anyone out there knows if EJ are going to start a winter service to Geneva from Edinburgh for the 2002/03 ski season. The closest airport that EJ uses to Scotland is Liverpool (unless east midlands is closer) Since there are literaly thousands of skiers in Scotland I wondered if they would consider a direct service? Its a bit of a pain having to book 4 seperate flights, and put on and take off your luggage four times.

No Easy isn`t offering any direct flights between EDI/GLA to GVA as of yet.

However, take care if you plan to book multiple flights with low cost airlines they tend to operate point-to-point, ie EDI-EMA then EMA-GVA is seen as a different booking and if something goes wrong you could lose out by having to pay for another flight, or not getting on the next flight due to it being full.

Have a look at some of the websites dealing with cheap fares or use a charter flight direct. Also remember that ski destinations at weekends can have some delays.

If it helps, I looked at Travelocity and looked at EDI-GVA rtn with BA end of Feb and they have a fare of just under £154.

Try Opodo as well.
