I have got a UK ATPL H with around 5000 hours experience.
When I did the writtens i only did to CPL level (all that was required then) to get my ATPL.
Im thinking of defecting to fixed wing and I allready have a CPL (A) + IR.
The CAA tell me I must do ALL the JAR exams to upgrade my licence (rather than the ATPL extras), Ive started argueing but getting no luck.
Has anybody got any further on this yet?
It seems silly that people like myself have to go in again at the bottom.
