Passing Benson this morning, on the main drag between Henley and Oxford, I saw two three-ships, one of Pumas, one of Merlins, beating the place up in a most impressive manner. Low, tight and very noisy. Brought a smile to the lips of this jaded journo!

We thank you! Not sure the locals appreciate the 'very noisy' bit though!

If we'd known what car you were in, we'd have waved!

I think you may read about it in the `Papers on Wednesday.
Every time they do that it causes us to lose slots to carry out our important work flying A.T,C. Cadets on air experience flights as they close the circuit for half an hour. Doesn`t affect the U.A.S. quite so much as they usually get away beforehand and don`t come back until later.
The locals may complain about the noise as they pass overhead, think of us poor groundcrew, we have the noise for half an hour beforehand whilst they go through their interminable start up.

What was the Eurocopter Dauphin doing though, anyone know?
