when is the last entries for air engineers going to be?
i heard that 2004 is when the school is going to close, is this gen?

2004 was the planned date of closure estimated a couple of years ago. It was always a flexible date dependant on the introduction of new aircraft, pvr etc. The RAF have to be cautious as once you shut the school, destroy the sims etc, it's very difficult to start again. At the moment the branch overall is fairly flush for people with more moving out of the C130 than expected. Having talked to an instructor last week it appears that the school has few students going through for this reason. If your serious about re-mustering do it now.

thanx for that. I have just actually went for Eng, but 1st timer at OASC, failed interview!
So 12 months time and that is my bestest chance to get in!!!
plenty time for visits, mock interviews, genning current affairs etc.
Hope so because it is wot i want to do ......DESPERATELY!
