Gday all,
Wondering if anyone had the details on the Quasco's 402 or 404
that crashed out of brisbaine the other day?

News said witnesses heard spluterring engines, which leads me to think it was a fuel related problem.

Cheers

ps. sorry for spelling brisbane wrong :o

QASCO
Was the Cessna 320 out of Redcliffe Aerodrome.
Emphennage is all that is left, witnesses heard spluttering of engine/s.They are now whinging about safety of living there, Suppose the Airport was there first.

Redcliffe aerodrome established on an area of reclaimed swamp some 30 years ago.

At the time there were NONE of the housing estates on the north or south sides of the main road that have since been developed.

Circuit procedures were changed about 12 years ago when the residents of these new estates started complaining about the noise.

As far as I'm concerned, if you buy a house next to an airstrip you have no justifiable complaint about noise or a/c operations.

Too right Tinny.

My eighty something year old grandma recalls living off the end of Essendon airport when she was a little girl as her father worked there. There were empty fields as far as the eye could see.

No right to complain.
