I am trying to find a list of airports world-wide, their lat and longs and their designators in an easy to use (comma delineated?) file that I can put into Excel and play with.

Of course any other info that may accompany such a file (like alts, rwys, mag var) would be most helpful as well, but not as essential.

Any pointers as to where such a thing may exist on the web?

Thanks in advance.

For all the airport decoding (3 and 4 letter) get the latest "Airlines & Airports Coding & Decoding" from EPS Aviation Publishers, PO Box 221, 3440 AE Woerden, The Netherlands. Fax +31 348 460459 // [email protected]

For lat/long's try the Aerad Supplement books..

Hope this helps...
