Recently Symantec stopped giving virus updates to my version of norton anti-virus. They stopped the annual subscription and said that I would have to buy a whole new package in order to continue receiving updated defs. Slightly miffed, I deleted it all and am now using AVG. On boot up however the pooter now says that the registry or system ini. refers to a couple of files that no longer exist. They are norton program files, 2 of them,
.........symevnt386, and a navap, something. How do I get rid of this? I've tried to locate them but no luck so far........any suggestions gratefully received. The operation of the computer is unaffected, this just appears at boot up.:)
