Greetings all,
I need some advice on Aviation Courses at Uni especially in WA, SA and NSW, but info about other states is welcomed.
Just wondering which are good, which aren't and what future employment prospects are like after completing certain courses.

3 year degree course.

While not wishing to diminish any potential usefulness of one of the various aviation degrees, why not consider reading for a normal vocational degree (Law, Engineering, etc., etc.) while doing your flying training separately ?
Much more marketable as a backstop if you lose your medical, for instance. The typical aviation degree is likely to be far less useful in such circumstances ... and ought not to be seen by the airlines to be in any way superior to the vocational degrees ....
Just a thought ...
UNSW runs an excellent three year Bachelor of Aviation course.

read the latest 'australian flying' magazine.september/october i think. they have an article on the subject. My advice would be, if possible, to consult the airlines if this is where you wish to be shortly, and ask them for advice on which courses they consider to be beneficial.
A couple of years in the aviation industry and/or atpl should see you into swinburne uni of tech by correspondance. www.swin.edu.au.

3 year degree but credit for flying experience is available for up to 160 of the 240 credit points required for award of the degree. Focus is on human factors or management - your choice.

Edith Cowan university here in WA has a Bachelors of aviation.
