Hope you are both looking forward to the time-honoured initiation ceremony - I trust it is still held for each new course ?

anyone got an idea of a decent spending budget for cranfield. okay I assume there isn't much to do there (god himself may have forgotten about the village by the looks of it) but there has to be something anyone??? http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/eek.gif

Cortilla,
a brief summary from my 18 months at Cranfield:
Milton Keynes: Cinema / bowling / a few restaurants & bars. The majority of our course nights out ended up in 'Empire' nightclub - v. cheesy but good fun.
Bedford: more traditional pubs than MK but can get a bit rough - definitely best to keep a low profile with the locals.
Some of the village pubs around Cranfield are not bad for a quiet pint or some pub grub - try the 'Cock' in nearby Crawley for a good feed.
If you want anymore info, feel free to e-mail me.

well as we are all going to be in the same boat, i thought i might try and find out who people are before we get down there.
r we stil doing that weekend away? there was some talk of binning it.
Sorry GA, thought you meant us that are here, rather than those that will be...
As for your w/e in Bramley Lakes, I assume that you're doing it.. Assuming you are, then take your hat and gloves because it was 'kin cold when we went!!!

Thanks for the warning!!
I really love those team-building days that coincide with the freak Arctic weather rarely experienced in the UK.
So how far are you through the course now?
