In case you missed it, Dick Rutan passed away at age 85.

In May 1997 Dick flew into Bowylie and stayed the night.
He was on one of his around the world flights.

The fact that voyager hangs in the air and space museum with all of its bug splotches and a rubbed-off wingtip is a beautiful testament to their achievement👍

I saw him speak at Oshkosh some years ago, a super smart man indeed.
Probably saw the same talk, his 'Mistys' and F100 flying was fascinating to listen to. Legend.
