USAF C-130 defaced by protesters at EINN

Anti-war slogans were painted on a USAF C-130 parked at Shannon at about 0500 this morning. The C-130s have been training from Shannon and this is the second security breach connected to the deployment, according to RTE News. Two people have been arrested by airport police and are being questioned by gardai. The DPP is deciding what to do about charges.

this has happened to hawks at warton. in fact the ones at warton had the cockpits smashed.

Who is in charge of security on the ramp at Shannon..? If someone can put paint on an aircraft, surely after Sept 11th...the possibilty of them putting something else on an aircraft is very worrying indeed..
