Hello all!

I am a New Entrant for easyJet Cabin Crew and am finding it so hard to see details on the benefits. Some say the staff travel begins on day 1 of training, others said day 1 post training - anyone know this and what the other benefits are? Are we able to claim the Thameslink discount during training as that's how I'll be commuting. Thanks!

I'd recommend posting this in the Cabin Crew forum. Might get a faster response.

As cabin crew, it has just been announced you are getting a watered down version of private heath that the AMB have just awarded to themselves. And the engineers. And all the managers and admin staff. But not the pilots.

When pressed on this a Clangar 89 puppet issued a cut and paste statement saying as the U.K. pilot pay talks are on going (towards a strike ballot) they were attempting to see where private health fits for pilots. He said this just before lying about the 2013 pay deal where we were bunged £50 to spend on any of the “pay for it yourself” benefits that we are given a sales pitch on every year. His lie states we were given this £50 in leu of private health in 2013.

One of the most crass and obvious mistakes made by easyjet leaders in a few years, thinking they are going to “sweeten” a bellow inflationary correction pay deal by hinting at us giving up our £50 to pay for an already company “imposed” scheme so they can watch us fight among ourselves over a watered down version of the directors BUPA scheme.

By all means join the easyjet forum to find out more, there is a lovely small Welsh gentleman there who will tell you what he thinks and why you are wrong. If you’re unlucky, and don’t ask, he may show you his bank balance so you firmly know that he is richer than you. Good luck!

Going slightly off topic but last time I looked £50 a month does not cover much of a health care package nowadays. Either that or I’m paying way over the odds for my BUPA healthcare.
