Cottage Point to Rose Bay - no flights

Anyone know why there are no flights going from Cottage Point to Rose Bay this afternoon? Lots of unhappy restaurant patrons (I am not one of them) taken out to their airplane, then returned to the restaurant. After waiting for more than an hour they were taken back to Sydney via taxi. Lots of rumours flying around but that seems to be the only flying going on! Two float planes currently (4:30pm) on moorings.

Maybe a 430pm CASA email to SHSP stopping Ops? Its been done before to other operators. Just a guess on my part!

Update: passengers reported being told it was a “comms issue”.

Whatever the problem was - back to normal today. Caravans and Beavers both in operation.
