Air Force officer and pilot trainee wins Miss America crown - Task & Purpose (taskandpurpose.com) (https://taskandpurpose.com/news/air-force-miss-america/)

At least she's a pilot. (Well, a pilot in training).
Great PR for the USAF. Hope she earns her wings.
(Some light hearted news to break up some of the doom and gloom...)

Scary qualifications, but I would if asked.

I do hope that her gunnery is more accurate than the title conferred on her would suggest.

Just like almost everything else today, this seems like an agenda choice.
Taste is subjective, but there is at least 5 more beautiful girls in that lineup.

Miss America is supposed to be more than just a "Beauty Contest" - talent and character are also taken into consideration (at least that's what the rules say).
I suspect she scored rather high in the talent and character categories...

Yes, ageed TD. Plus also, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.

An amazing young woman! Graduated AFA Colorado Springs and also has an incredible educational and flying background!

Well done!!

Well - most participants in such contests usually want to work with Children and Animals so a pilot training school seems most appropriate.

Take her through Effects of Controls - Part I, I presume?
