Helicopter Pilot Salary For Jobs Without IR

Question for the Commercial Heli Pilots out there, What's the average salary of a Utility Pilot in the UK/EU? Also curious to know what the highest paying jobs would be which don't require IR, as of course, most jobs do require it.

R44 Utility salary is far less I imagine

Outside of Europe its possible to clear £85k a year net plus expenses on an equal on/off roster (US$ 110k after tax etc 5 on/off).

Will need the right experience and type ratings which not very common to most Euro ops.

High altitude, long line etc... VFR Utility work.

Involves working in some s**te holes though....

I don't know if it's in the latest advert, but in April the NPAS advert required an IR:
... A minimum of 1,500 hours total helicopter flying time which must include an absolute minimum of 50 hours flying at night, including 20 hours PIC at night, 500 hours PIC overland under VMC and a single pilot helicopter Instrument Rating...

NPAS seem to keep changing the IR requirement each time they advertise. They have upped the night requirement to 100 hours which kiboshes most civilian people (unless they are coming from an offshore job - unlikely given offshore salaries are far higher)

The average I have seen for plug & play HEC pilot doing 12/12, (do not know any that work a 5/5), is $120k plus $75/hr flight pay, per diem, travel, hotel etc

Yep, especially as there's also a 500 hour onshore requirement which career offshore pilots won't have! I'm sure it's sheer coincidence that the increase in night hours happened at the same time they cut the total hours requirement by a third - if you're ex-military. And they must have been advertising the same jobs for over a year now...
