X-65 using blasts of air for control, how very modern.

Why would the blower stop working?

Not the same thing at all, though. Clever as it was for the time, that used air to reenergise flow over otherwise conventional secondary flight control surfaces.and reaction jets.

This tech does away with mechanical primary control surfaces altogether and achieves that with aerodynamic flows that promise to be significantly more efficient than reaction effectors.

Why would the blower stop working?

It’s called an engine Brian!
