What is this external store and why is it carried that way? Too big for the bomb bay?

Don't recognise that one in particular but they quite frequently carried a targeting pod on the chin pylon in the past.

Could it be a trial of the developing AGM-181 LRSO (slated to replace the AGM-86 ALCM from 2027)?
