Hi all,

I'm building hours towards an CAA/EASA CPL(H). To spice things up - and get out the UK - I'd like to build some PIC and turbine time in South Africa - any schools to recommend?

Henley seems goods, well established.
Any dice on Unique?

In my experience, the less corporate the website, or more family run it is - the better the training usually is, or the less of a 'number' you are.

Cheers!

I went to NAC at Rand airport.
Had a month booked off.
They forgot to mention that august is the windiest month, and they ground all students above 15 knots ( 15 as far as I recall)
They also restrict the hours a student can fly each day.

I had the time and money, was there every day but simply couldn't hit my desired hours.

Make sure your choice has been clear about weather restrictions and hours per day.

If I did it again, I'd go somewhere coastal simply for the scenery.
