The 777 was a great airplane on those kinds of days. It looks as though he started pump-handling the elevators.

I’m curious as to the obligatory metars. It’s hard to suggest that someone didn’t measure up in the absence of hard data. (Spoken as a guy who flies a big piston twin in which more or less instantaneous differential thrust is available to make multiengine jet drivers look bad in big crosswinds)
