Ok so I've read the CASA regs and FAA regs. But cant work out what's required above FL410.

Above FL350 the pilot must be wearing an O2 mask unless it's an designated quick donning mask (able to put in one handed in under 5 seconds).

Do the regs imply that above FL410, such as cruising at FL450, when single pilot, that the pilot must be wearing the mask? You never see any video of these pilots at FL450 with a mask (Phenom 300, CJ3, CJ4

I always thought that FL450 was the max allowable FL for a single pilot jet due to the oxygen requirements, but then comes along the proposed Honda Jet (Echelon) that is advertised as single pilot but lists a max altitude of FL470. Is FL470 allowable under CASA regs single pilot? Would wearing a mask be mandatory at that FL?

You've got to dig deeper.

Go to the MOS. Part 91, 121 and 135 all have the answer
