Hi PPRune Community,
For a long time now it has been a dream of mine to become an Airline Pilot, and now as I prepare to start Year 11, I'd love to have an idea as what to expect once finishing school. If anyone has any information on Australian Airline Cadetships, I'd be grateful if they'd be able to provide it.

I'm especially seeking information about which cadetships are running, and what cadetships could be back (such as Jetstar and Virgin), as well as any information I could find useful about them in general.

I'm currently aware that the only ab-initio cadetships operating in Australia post-COVID are the Rex, Pelican and Sharp Airlines Cadetships. With The Qantas Future Pilot Program not exactly fitting the standard definition of an Airline cadetship as it is more of an avenue into direct entry as I am aware.
Additionally, the Jetstar and Virgin Australia Cadetship has ceased, as of the date of this post.

If anyone has any information that might help, I'd appreciate it heaps.
