Curious if the aircraft was ever repaired?

Which aircraft was this? Do you mean the Rapide that crashed at Audley End? Not Shuttleworth's aeroplane, G-AHGD was owned by Michael Astor, the wreck appears to have eventually passed to Ralph Jones and his family at Southern Sailplanes but is now deregistered. I think they did a Rapide rebuild or two, maybe used for spares or is in the background for eventual restoration.

That's the one. It was based at Old Warden for a while in Ambulance colours.
