Hi Chaps we need some help on another thread to trace the history of Hurricane LF 363.
We know the machine led a victory parade over London in 1946 (pilot unknown), and we know Stanley Vincent was involved in it getting some attention from Hawkers at Lanley and it then flew a Batlle of Britain fly past in 49. Its 'wanderings' after that are unclear other than it seems to have been 'adopted' by various station flights (including Waterbeach) and then became a founding member of what became the BBMF at Biggin in 57. There were two 'fly pasts' in 46 (Victory FP with over 300 machines, and a BoB in Sept). Its brother (or sister) in arms PZ 865 was always operated by Hawkers until gifted to the BBMF so its history is much clearer. Anyway any info (or recorded spots) would be welcome. Thread running on Av His has already 'unearthed' some interesting facts.

Have you tried Hurricane Survivors by Gordon Riley? Published by Grub Street in 2015.
ISBN 13:9-781-909808-34-8

Hope this helps

The RAF Museum used to be pretty good at providing individual aircraft histories.

Or possibly a peek at the log book of SV.
