Looking for some help with identifying a propeller. I believe this was found in a garage in Essex, after having been bought some years ago at a car boot sale, or similar.

Intrigued to know what type of aircraft it might have been on.

can you type out those serial numbers? might be quite quick to ID

Crikey - there are so many! hopefully the enlarged images assist - Possibly a Hamilton Standard, having zoomed in to Image #4

The TC reference (P13NE) is for a Hamilton Standard 6/5500/F-1 and F-2, used on the BAe ATP/Jetstream 61.

One hour and three minutes to nail a bit of a propeller

this place is getting slow..... must be the summer holidays................... in the good old days we'd have had the full flying record of the thing by now ;)

Crikey those shots don't show the size of an ATP blade . The whole prop was about 16' in diameter , thus 1 blade should be about 7' long with hub approx 1' .
Don't forget there are 6 blades all plastic in that hub . Seem to remember prop rpm of approx 1050 ....perhaps climb setting ?
Sounded like a machine gun when prop deice used , ice being flung against fuselage . Bit quieter when sacrificial plates added to fuselage sides .

The OP's second photo shows the Hamilton Standard part number (starts UFB ...). The number after those letters - 14 - indicates the nominal prop diameter in feet.
