That's a pretty good textbook. It might be a bit US-centric in spots but there's lots of information about airplanes and flying them at the entry level. So people who are pondering aviation might find it useful to read it.

And the price is right !!

Flight controls, flight instruments, aerodynamics, weight & balance, aircraft systems and construction, weather, etc. aren't the sole province of the USA. For a person in any country wondering if flying might interest them, this book touches on all the technical subjects...and it's free. Then if the subject strikes their fancy, they can spend money on a book closer to home. Areas like regs and airspace design might be a bit US-centric for someone from elsewhere.
