Hi All,

Do crew working for the REX group incl NJE get any staff travel benefits. I think REX used to get Virgin staff rates; is this still the case, more to the point any access to the majors in particular for NJE?

Cheers

NJE employees get staff travel on the Rex regional and domestic networks.

As of mid-last year, rex staff do not get any staff travel benefits on any airlines other than Rex. And the benefits they get on Rex are highly limited.

Expect ID90 standby fares on the fully flexible ticket, which usually is more expensive than buying a confirmed ticket.

Oh, and you also need to email a form to the rude staff travel lady in Orange who works 2-3 days a week and will process it when she feels.

Ha! Nice to see that things haven't changed.

There was a rumor that staff would have access to Delta once the interline agreement was finalised. But not much has happened with the Rex FF program :oh:

On the plus side, currently you shouldn't have any trouble at all getting a seat on essentially any flight you'd care to choose.

Rex Staff Travel is a joke.

It has been for the last twenty years.

What happened to the updated Staff Travel App that was mentioned a couple of months ago?

Nothing.
