AAIB attend fatal accident 26 July 2023

AAIB inspectors arrived on site of a fatal single engine aircraft on 26 July east of Darlton Airfield near Redford, Nottinghamshire.

It was a Eurofox, one on board died.

Believe that a/c is used for glider towing, but no idea if that's what it was doing at the time.

No further information has been released, some confusion in local press reports as to whether the aircraft was involved in a mid-air incident. All that can be positively gleaned is that it was Darlton gliding Club's tug aircraft.
