Block v Actual. Merely correcting a flawed policy. Of limited benefit.
HK Express for S/O's. On HKE conditions with nil guarantee's of further upgrade or a timed return? No thanks. GBA offer a more enticing deal.
Your seniority list remains stagnant at 2400 pilots despite a concerted global recruitment campaign.
70% capacity by years end. Sheer folly. Reality does not match the messaging.
Under your management, are we a safer airline than pre Covid?
Address the core problems or the airline will largely stagnate shortly.

They need another 3 years to study the core problems and address it

Let's be honest, these guys have tried to slice and dice the pay with zero positive results. The market has spoken. Very soon they'll realise the only way to get any meaningful results is to raise the pay for flight ops significantly in order to be competitive. Which brings us back to where we were before they sliced and diced the pay. What was the whole point of this excercise? Sometimes its best to leave things as they are, instead of f*cking around and finding out.

Somewhere therein lies the answer, get out . . . life is too short.

I think you're right that COS18 is here to stay, but not that Cathay Pacific will become a "smaller" airline but a declining airline of mediocre calibre. The management gets what it pays for.

lol - the airline has already stagnated vs every competitor, except maybe the PRC carriers. Now Air India is under new management for example, watch them leap ahead of CX

The music slowed over a decade and came to a grinding halt in 2019.
Hong Kong and Cathay aren't global players anymore, they are just another Chinese airline. Singapore are lightyears ahead in terms of product and service, as are the ME carriers. When polar routes open to the US carriers again, that will bite too. Who wants to fly Cathay anymore anyway? Grubby tired, old planes with depressed staff. Ew.

There are many pilots who hail from Cathay’s non traditional recruiting sources and sons who would aspire to the present T’s and C’s on offer.

This is the harsh reality of being a hired gunslinger - eventually someone will pop up and offer to do the job for less.
