Just read ABC, plane tail fire in Moranbah this morning. It said Charter flight with 77 people on board... I'm thinking potentially Alliance?? Anyone know?

Well the news story does mention that it was believed to be Alliance.

When I first read it, it just said Charter flight. Those Fokkers are certainly getting on now. Events like this I guess are a catalyst to usher in the E190 I'd assume??

“a fire on their plane before take-off”
“may have been caused by fuel leaking onto the exhaust”
“passengers smelled smoke as they boarded the plane”
”the fire appeared to be in the tail of the aircraft”

I’m glad they only asked 4 passengers what happened and not all 77 of them. :E

Yup, juuuust enough passengers interviewed to justify a panicky clickbait article with fire in the title.

The only fire near this aircraft was probably the word written on the responding fire truck.
