30-40% pay cut is a understatement, factor in inflation and the three hundred odd percent increase in property prices since the GFC - it's more like a 70% pay cut truth be known...

Well they had to spend all the money they saved on staff salaries on something.

It definitely hasn't been spent on aircraft presentation because I was in the toilet of one of the A350s recently and the once-cream coloured sink in the washroom is now a nice shade of brown. I mean, it's always possible that it's not the wear on the cheap fittings and actually a mainlander who has shat into the basin and then proceeded to work said **** into the grains of the plastic with very course sandpaper.

It sounds like threats directed at pilots yet again . There is a very simple way to fix it revert to scheduled or actual flight time whichever Is the greater .
