Aye up!! Right, I get it, some people will say on here "learn the context and don't depend on the question banks!" - Ok, gotcha, but this isnt the 1980's and there is a requirement to do both theory and questions banks, simultaneously.

My question is, how accurate are the QBs to the actual EASA Exam questions? I would appreciate any fairly recent exam takers to give their views and experiences, than the "back in my day" type of people.

Cheers

As accurate as the memory of the person submitting the question to the said banks. It's like a game of Chinese whispers. Good luck banking

Having done my ATPL(H) back in Feb.. the answer is not accurate at all.. they are somewhat “similiar” but not copies.

Best option is to learn the stuff as memorizing answers will get you nowhere. Go to the EASA FCL and download the learning objectives as many quatsions are phrased off them directly

Having said that.. doing the question banks will teach you the strange and weird grammar and question style you can expect.. namely a non-native english speaker will formulate a question in their native language send it 4 times thru Google-Translate and then publish it… along with 4 almost correct answer with you having to decipher the “most-correct” option that the author decided that day..
So well worth running a cross selection of Bank apps and test questions to learn Easa Pigeon English.

Certainly you will need to know your stuff with helicopter POF, based on current experience. The same with other subjects as they are trying to get rid of the database queens. :)

Having said that, you will not pass without them, not for learning the questions but for getting used to the idiocy. I ask you, of what use is the knowledge of the drop size in nasal sprays?

Of the two I keep a watch on, aviation exam has more different questions and about 10% less duplicate questions than ATPLQuestions. Both of them do not have everything by any means, and I guess that goes for the others, unless they manage to steal the database, as used to happen. I know that because I used to have access as a question writer and I have only seen a few even of the ones wot I wrote. Others tell me the same.
