Pending approval by CAAC, Xiamen will launch daily Beijing Daxing - Doha flights sometime during the summer schedule, also become the first mainland Chinese airline to serve Qatar, previously Cathay Pacific had served the place.

When I flew Beijing-Doha a few years back on Qatar, the back of the plane was filled with Chinese labourers going to work on construction projects in Doha and beyond. I guess this market still exists.

Aeroroutes mentions service listed for just a week 12-17 July operating five flights and Qatar Airways codesharing.

Flights didnt operate per FR24 which also lists them.

China Southern also granted DOH daily from Daxing airport and Guangzhou,.
Over past few years American, Air Canada, Finnair, Malaysian have started flying there, Iberia will from next month and JAL from next year, both returning to Gulf region after thirty years or more.
