During the summer, there are a large number of flights from UK airports to Antalya in Turkey. Gazipasa-Alanya, a little to the east, gets plenty of summer seasonal beach-seeking leisure flights from Holland, Germany and the Nordic countries... but nothing from the UK. Anyone know why the UK market is so wary of Gazipasa-Alanya airport ? Or is this just a case of waiting a couple of years for the market to mature a little more before a route from London or Manchester with TUI or Jet2 appears maybe in 2025 ?

interesting question, went to Antalya for the first time last year and stayed near Alayna so it would have been closer! No idea but interested in the responses!
