Just had a look. "career" and "one of the most prestigious airlines in the world". They do have a sense of humour it seems !

Yes, please apply and join the toxic work culture, where management beatings are a weekly occurrence.

Not only will you be flying a “prestigious airline”, you’ll be more than grateful to give the company 40 hours a month of your life for free, because there is no way they’re paying you a cent till the park brake comes off!

Experience working for a premium carrier that has LLC conditions!

Want to discover the world? Of course you can! We provide accommodation in the most luxurious airport hotels our $80USD per night can get you!

Still not convinced? Our medical coverage is so basic that the only way to get proper treatment is to go back to your own country, or suffer through the HK public medical system, which has an amazing record for misdiagnosis.

Sick/injured at an outport? Don’t worry, we’ll cover everything and make sure the cost is deducted from your already low medical coverage, no paperwork needed on your end. - Yes that’s right! We will not pay out of our own pockets or have you insured while operating.

At CX, we want you to save enough money when it comes time for retirement, so on top of your pittance of a salary, we’ll contribute a massive 5% to your provident fund.

Want to come for an interview? No problems! make your own way here at your expense!

Our Billing department will make sure that your Type Rating is fully deducted at a cost to you, over 3 years - Bye Bye pilot allowance!

*****Limited time offer*********
If you recommend another pilot, and they successfully completed the interview process and remained at CX for one year, we will give you a meal voucher for two at one of Cathay City’s fine dining establishments so you can talk about how amazing it is to work here!

A lot has slipped, standards, pay, allowances, rosters…..The only thing that hasn’t slipped is the executive’s wages!

Well it's the oldest management trick in the the book. Devide and Rule.
What the management clowns tend to forget is this. Their most valuable asset is their employees. In this business, is an unhappy crew member, a safe crew member? I wager not as safe, as a happy crew member.
if they think crews are expensive to keep happy, try an accident for size. See what that does to the expenditure. God forbid.
They need to think about this. Crews are human, so subject to inference from stress, distractions etc, etc.

Modern day management do not care about accidents. When a hull loss occurs they can just up and leave the business and go and hollow out another corporation. Their entire goal is to extract as many sheckles as possible from the entity and leave. They have no allegience or loyalty. Just look at how often management sychophants jump around in the corporate world. They are money extractors and nothing more!
Anyway I am sure Blackrock and Vanguard will just buy more shares in Swire if anything goes wrong...

How nauseating. What a load of pigs at the trough. Greed pure and simple. Probably sell their own mothers, given the chance. I weep in despair.

She was a KA FO. According to her social media account, the lay-offs hit her and her family hard. Add 3 years of local covid nonsense and she wasted no time going back to the snake pit that made her life hell. She's been in Hello Kitty City for a whole 30 minutes and is already in front of the camera drenched in makeup and fake smiles. This isn't Stockholm syndrome. This is something worse.

And can we please get some of the uniform police to teach these children how to wear a tie properly? Hands in pockets during an interview, very classy. What's next, sunglasses inside?

I guess that reflect the state of the company..

I guess "Come and follow me in day as a life of a CX pilot/cabin crew..unrestiricted" selfie sticks and sunglasses:cool:. cabin crew... skirts will be shorter and jackets and blouses will be tighter:ok:... also applies to flight crew:E...
