I’m doing some research into the majestic Hunter and have a question with regard to stores carriage. My understanding is that the aircraft had its own specific Hunter Pylon which was incompatible with a NATO standard 14-inch attachment. Was an adaptor plate ever manufactured and used by any military operator?

AFAIK it was not a specific "Hunter" pylon. There was (is?) a difference between UK and US stores fittings for pylons.

The UK pylon had a single pickup lug, whereas the US standard had two. Did NATO adopt the US standard? Could be. I never saw, in British use of the Hunter, a dual pickup adapter, nor was aware of such a thing. I have no knowledge of what other nations did.
