Except that the Shire is not the State Government, which is where the KDC fits. This is really an extension of an ongoing service that has been running with a KingAir for a couple of years, that has been jointly funded primarily by the City of Karratha, Town of Port Hedland and Shire of East Pilbara. Funnily enough, back in the day it was going to receive some DPIRD funding until a certain minister chucked a wobbly because a former opposition MP appeared in an Aviair commercial!

Was very low 100's to fly the king air and mustang. Might have changed
