Has anyone heard much about this ? is it still on going ? Are they looking for FO's and DEC ? Are they only looking for type rated ? Or would 787 /777 rated but only flown 787 be considered ?

thanks

A friend said to me, make sure you know what the DHL slogans are on the vans, who the MD is what his mother's middle name is and fav colour, where every single plane flies and be able to name all their hubs, and what DHL actually stands for.... or you're not DHL material.

that sounds like pretty much any standard company knowledge any well respected airline would expect to know from candidates. Pretty good way of checking to see if the individual has put some homework in or just thinks they can waltz in at a whim.

Flying freight all night isn’t something to be sniffed at and many can’t hack it. So the likes of DHL pay very well and offer benefits to make things “easier” and more attractive. They’re making sure you know what you’re about to sign up to instead of chasing the $$ or benefits.

Have to say amazed you can get a job anywhere.

Even when I had a job interview at Tesco while doing A levels I remember they asked questions like who the store manager was? Where was the head office? When Tesco started? Tesco slogan? Etc

Basic questions to any job if you ask me. Might not be asked the questions but you should know the answers!!
