Some of you may have seen that BigJet TV is in Dubai for some live shows.
He's currently singing the praises of EK and how great it is to be a pilot for them.
A 380 Captain he interviewed last week was also effusive with his praise.
Discuss 🤔😃😂

I admire Mr D's stamina and dedication to aviation. To be both a successful streamer and an airline pilot is quite impressive.:ok:

 I'll assume you're being facetious 😂
His dad was a pilot though.

He's at it again this morning. Another EK lovefest.
An FO singing their praises.
Don't know who to believe now 😸

Apparently their trainees go from flying a Phenom 100 to 777 RHS. 😯
Initial training in Cirrus SR22.

Down the road the trainees go from a 787 Sim MPL into a 787 RHS. MPL is here to stay and is normal now. At least they get some Phenom experience.

But if you're flying a 777, why would 'other' flying be important? Everyone had to start somewhere and a 777 is as good a place as any to start.

What experience would you recommend that prepares me for the 777?

You build no meaningful handling experience flying a 777 at EK. It is not a bad place to end your flying career but I personally am glad I cut my teeth in an environment where I had to actually fly the aircraft with my own hands and without a Flight Director doing the thinking for me as well.

Well actually what the entire world does - Props - Turboprops - some kine of smaller jets then a big airliners

That's the usual path
