Its grey and raining in London again so I got out my aerodynamic drag calculations - as one does.

Can anyone advise how does one relate a figure of 32N aerodynamic drag of a new antenna installation on an A321 to something that makes sense in an operational environment?

I'm working on a little project that involves adding a small antenna to an A321. The lessor asked to know what was the drag impact of the antenna. Using standard calculations, the aerodynamic drag works out at 32N. How does this get related to say increased fuel requirements?

Thanks all

You need to look at the thrust-specific fuel consumption at the operating condition of interest, most likely cruise conditions.
