It was back in 2017, when I was back in my other neck of the woods across the border when I heard rumours of Columbia wanting to do business in the Swiss Alps. Though what with Swiss Helicopter Group and Heli-Austria already operating in Mollis with a Super Puma and Bell 412...that Columbia entering the marketplace there a wee challenge.

Best of luck and good to see Kv-107 back in Europe (after Swedish retired their HKp from mil service).

cheers

Great to see a Vertol on this side of the pond.
I started my maintenance career in the CAF, (RCAF) with 442 Squadron back in 1974 on the CH113 Labrador.
The BV-107II is the civilian version of the CH113A Voyager, of course now stripped down, strengthened and stronger engines.
When I arrived in Switzerland in June 1986 I went to work for Helog AG on their Super Puma, (I was ex. Sealand Helicopters, 8 Super Pumas). At the time all medium and heavy maintenance was done at Pilatus Flugzeugwerk in Stans NW. The rest of the maintenance work was in the field.
A few years later this beautiful hangar was built and we were able to bring all our maintenance back in house.
Seeing this photo brings back lots of memories from my time with 442 Squadron as well as with Helog and later Heliswiss.
Thanks chopper2004
Good luck to Philipp Disler and his team!
