Back in October I ordered a set of CIES fuel senders for a Piper Arrow from Aircraft Spruce. Spruce gave a delivery date of late November. The month went by, and Spruce's emails simply said they were on back order and gave no date at all. Last week I asked Spruce if they could either give a date or cancel the order. At first they replied that the order was non-cancellable, then later the same day they said the manufacturer had given permission to cancel it. So it seems that CIES, despite their flashy and industrious website, are not actually producing anything.
Has anyone else tried ordering CIES components recently?

Sadly welcome to the new world post Covid, you will have to wait about 6 months plus to get hold of Champion oil filters, Tempest ones are not so bad, but again months to wait. Had some on order since November.
Lycoming cylinders tried to get one of them, was looking at no delivery date with a possibility of end of the year, Superior ones, I managed to find one luckily from another company, I was being quoted possibly late summer.

Have you tried

failing that pm me a part number and I’ll run it through parts base to see who if anyone have them in stock.
