Hi everyone,

I currently hold an EASA ATPL(A) with ME/IR and am trying to find an ATO that offers an EASA Multi-Engine Seaplane rating. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Aero Club Como - Seaplane Pilots Association (https://seaplanepilotsassociation.org/flight-schools/aero-club-como-2/)

(I have no personal experience with them).

Apply for a job as FO with TMA, they will provide you the training on the Twin Otter !! Lots of fun, you will have to sign a bond contract !

Sadly there are no MEP(Sea) courses at an ATO in EASA that I've found. DHC-6 or Dornier Seastars are type ratings not MEP. The problem is the structure you need in licensing behind even one MEP(Sea) course such as FI, FIC, FE or CRE(Sea). The last few MEP(Sea) I saw were N--reg Grumman Goose and Widgeons somewhere in Austria.

There are US Options - how are you going to keep it validated?
