DOUBLE BOGEY

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the hangar, not a ratchet was turning, not even a spanner, when all of a sudden with a whoosh and bang, Sleigh Number One came down on the Pan. Santa was sweating and the reindeers too, for the deer at front was turning quite blue. Maintenance were called and an inspection began. The Reindeers shuffled about on the pan. The faulty deer’s nose was glowing all red so a borescope called for and others deer’s fed. Quickly they noticed the nose was not clear, so a power wash called for to the surprise of the Deer. A spluttering cleansing and Deer tried not to cry but a CRS was issued and the Deer cleared to Fly. A DDL raised and the invoice was paid and Santa got packing and his flight plan was made. The Reindeers gathered and pushed to the front the little red nosed reindeer they though was a runt. But the plucky young fella pulled hard as he might and along with his colleagues the sleigh took to flight. In less than a moment, Santa was gone and engineers pondered on job well done. Rotors are fancy and wings are for girls, but a reindeer powerplant is the best in the world!”
