Can anyone identify what helicopter this comes from.
A fellow in another group wants to know.
He purchased it at a garage sale in Canada.
Thanks for any clues.
Cheers
Albatross.

Not Lynx
Agreed, not lynx either visually or by PN convention.
Saunders-Roe Skeeter I believe.

The first part of a part number usually points to the model. May I suggest 'H12' stands for Hiller 12 ?

Not Hiller 12E. They had a tip cap of a regular cap shape.

Is it possible it is a propellor blade ?. This was their main line of business per wikepedia, They invented hydrolignum process. Sorry just read the post above .

It looks very much like a Saro Skeeter tail rotor blade.
Putnam's Saunders and Saro Aircraft Since 1917 has a picture on p248 of Skeeter 8, G-APOI taken in 1958 and the profile and paint look identical to your images.

Would appear to be a "tadpole" part.

The image you have posted is XM555 which is a Saro Skeeter AOP12.

So did the Scout and the Skeeter share the same TR blades but on different hubs?

The SR prefix to the part number suggests Saunders Roe
I think its probably an early scout blade
