once you fill on line application for Direct entry Captain.
Do you get an automated or any kind of response from the company.

Unless anything has changed since March this year when I did mine, yes you should get an automated email acknowledging etc with a candidate number.

Probably not. Way back, I tried to assist a number of mates in a similar position. A Senior Admin Bod told me ;" Look, you have to understand that GF is not a proper airline but a Flying Club !". I persisted to a higher level and was told : "Look, it is what it is. If you are IN, you are in, if you are OUT, you are out !"! I thanked him for his in=depth analasys and we popped down to the Costa outlet within HQ where we larfed our socks off.. Good luck though.

Well I did back in 2015 when I joined for a while and March this year to reapply.
