Abrupt curved maneuver after tow release has caused many similar collisions in the past .. Not saying this is what happened here , but it is the first thing that comes to my mind when seeing this. RIP to both ...:(

From one of the links.He said the glider left the local gliding club but at this stage police are not sure where the ultra-light aircraft came from.
"At this stage we're not sure where the ultra-light came from, whether it took off from here or took off from somewhere else and was coming here," Inskip said.
