Understand it was a former PPRuNer who was eventually retrieved from his lofty eyrie along with his passenger, both in good nick. Whether the trusty steed fared so well is uncertain, heard it was an Emeraude.

So true Maora, but the article says the aircraft "plunged", probably to miss the school and hospital.Witnesses say the light aircraft plunged into woodland around 11am on Monday after taking off from nearby Rochester Airport in Kent.plunge
