May the Swire flag fly proudly through Russian Airspace, after all CX is not a western airline right; it's more Chinese than Western correct?

Absolutely disgusted they should even consider overflight. Knowing the price of everything versus cost of lives in Ukraine. Plenty of other ways to JFK with a stop enroute
I guess they just sent a few million Ruble out with Nord when it departed the other day.

CX841 on Nov 1 flew over Russia on the way back from JFK. It was around 2 to 2 and a half hours faster than not via Russia.
